## Principal

Douglas McClentic has close to 30 years in the construction industry. He worked
on high rise buildings, the Logan and Newark International Airport terminals,
North Station in Boston, Salem State College, Jordan's Furniture in Reading MA,
and Walt Disney World in Florida. He began as a laborer for a general
contractor and a flooring contractor, moved into a production millwork shop,
then worked as a carpenter and later a site superintendent in central
Massachusetts. He graduated from the Boston Architectural College with a
Bachelors of Architecture in 1999, registered as an Architect in 2007, and
registered in North Carolina in 2010.

## Selected projects

- Hows It Bean: coffee shop, Garner NC, completed. A cabin-like outdoors feel delivered on a modest budget.
- Cuban Revolution: restaurant, Providence RI, completed. Adaptation of a former mill building at "the Plant" on Valley Street, pairing an industrial shell with contemporary detail.
- Riverwood Villas: Clayton NC, completed, for Fred Smith, Inc. One and two bedroom apartments plus two commercial spaces across seven buildings, completing the main street of the Riverwood Athletic Club.
